Jeri-lee and Trent couldn't have hoped for a better forecast to host their wedding day at Yandina Station (Sunshine Coast). 0% chance of rain; 100% chance of sunshine ALL day.
This gorgeous couple's ceremony took place under the giant fig tree surrounded by many of their nearest and dearest friends. The mother of the bride received the bouquet to hold for her daughter which skyrocketed the emotions in the air from the start. Jeri-lee then gave her mother and the groom's mum a single rose each. This was a beautiful gesture received with so much love. The bride and groom decided to say their vows purely to eachother rather than to all present. This was a brave and beautiful choice on their behalf creating real intimacy for those precious moments.
After the loved up ceremony and all the congratulations with family and friends we took off on a portrait adventure around the famously historical Yandina Station. We found some magical places around the property to capture the loving bond between these warm and generous soul mates.
The night kicked on in the old dairy where Splash Events and Wendy's Flowers did an extraordinary job of designing and decorating the reception. After the cutting of the cake (by Sugar Allure), speeches and first dance the bride and groom's family and friends tore up the dance floor. I hadn't seen dance moves like this is some time! This lively bunch had a rockin' good time together celebrating the marriage of Mr and Mrs Langmaid.

Obi Obi Hall & Mapleton Falls Wedding, Sunshine Coast - Maddy & Nathan
The Sunshine Coast weather forecast for the entire week leading up to Maddy and Nathan's wedding at the Obi Obi Hall was for storms and heavy rainfall between 40-80mm. Not ideal. In fact it did rain that much on most parts of the Sunshine Coast but not over the range in Obi Obi. The forecast didn't dampen (pardon the pun) the spirits of the bride and groom anyway.
Maddy got ready in The Falls Farm "Smith House" near the gorgeous Mapleton Falls. This is the oldest house in town and has been beautifully renovated. The house sits on the top of the highest ridge in Mapleton. This was the perfect place to fit all of the bride's nephews, nieces, bridesmaids and parents - the whole tribe! Smith House also served as a great backdrop for Maddy getting ready with her friends and family.
A massive marquee was set up beside the Obi Obi Hall or the wedding ceremony with amazing views of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland mountains in the background. The ceremony was full of prayer, laughs and genuine love and emotion from all the wedding party and guests present.
Post ceremony I took the bride and groom and their lovely bridesmaids and groomsmen up to Mapleton Falls Lookout for some portraits then up their road to Smith House for some intimate and epic portraits of just the newlyweds.
I'd been photographing Maddy and Nathan in front of the old farm shed in the backyard for about 15 minutes then I turned around to be greeted by the most intoxicatingly mysterious thick fog. Needless to say the bride and groom swiftly moved into the fog for some of the most beautiful wedding portraits I've ever been blessed to take.
The wedding party headed back down to Obi Obi Hall for the reception where I departed soon after their entrance. Buzzing Events did a spectacular job of the reception styling and it was without a doubt one of the most magical looking receptions I've photographed!
Congratulations Maddy & Nathan!

“I don’t even know where to start!! It was an absolute pleasure to have Jesse photograph our wedding. Jesse in all of my dreams I never imagined having such incredible wedding photos. You made my fairy tale come to life through your images and you captured each magical moment. We both feel so blessed to have had you with us on our special day. Your obvious passion and creative eye for photography and the beauty in this world is so obvious and it brings such joy to everyone else. The amount of times that you made us even more excited and happy because of your genuineness were too many to count. From the moment we met with you and Mikala we knew that we HAD to have you, because you are so real. Everyone who has seen your photos of us have had nothing but the highest praise and we would recommend you in a heartbeat. We will forever be grateful to you and all that you have done for us.

AnnaBella Chapel, Sunshine Coast Wedding - Julie & Simon
The Sunshine Coast turned on absolutely perfect weather for Julie and Simon's gorgeous wedding day.
Simon and his groomsmen got ready at The Sebel in Maroochydore. The views were breathtaking. The boys were loads of fun. Simon is one very awesome human. Kindness exudes constantly from him through his ever-ready smile.
Julie and her bridesmaids, flower girls and page boy preened themselves at the beautiful rustic Arabella Guesthouse on Buderim. Julie and one half of our photographer duo Jesse, attended senior high school in Nambour together. Julie is still a laugh a minute. She is always laughing, always vibrant and one of the most delightful souls you could hope to meet.
All of the bride and groom's family and friends gathered at AnnaBella Wedding Chapel in Ilkley to watch them wed and make their vows to love, honour and obey each other before God, forever. Simon's reactions and emotions throughout the ceremony were so wonderfully candid and honest and so refreshing to see in a groom. Julie was a picture of absolute class and so ready at all times for a good laugh, which comes so naturally to her.
After the heartfelt ceremony the bride, groom and their bridal party took a walk with us around the lush semi-tropical grounds of AnnaBella Wedding Chapel (this is one of the most STUNNING venues to get married in on the Sunshine Coast or in Brisbane). This group of guys and gals were such a great reflection of the bride and groom - big hearts and always ready to laugh!
Julie and Simon's wedding reception was hosted by Harry's Restaurant on Buderim. The food was DIVINE. There is a reason why Harry's is one of the most loved restaurants on the Sunshine Coast - WOW. There is rustic charm around every corner at Harry's and with no other buildings or houses within a couple hundred metres of it, this is the epitome of privacy and exclusivity to top off your wedding day. The groom, best man, maid of honour and father-of-the-bride speeches were some of the best we've witnessed - full of belly laughs! The bride and groom clearly had the time of their lives.
We look forward to seeing what adventures Julie and Simon find themselves on in this exciting new chapter of their lives.
Big Love special ones X
Jesse & Mikala
“Jesse and Mikala, words can’t really describe how blessed we are that we had both of you photographing our wedding. What an incredibly talented and creative team you are! Not only did we have one exceptional photographer, but TWO to capture each and every moment of our special day. Your naturally relaxed energy was so calming for us both and we felt so at ease. That was something of much importance to us both, as we wanted to feel completely comfortable at our wedding. Thank you for making us feel so at ease, we had such a wonderful time with you! As for your photos, oh my gosh... S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G! We have had people comment on them being the most beautiful wedding photos they’ve ever seen! We are so happy that all our memories have been captured so beautifully in your photographs. They are what we have to remember our one special day, and we are so delighted! We both highly recommend your creative and artistic abilities to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Your packages offer great value for money, especially with two professional photographers capturing every moment, and then turning each moment into something truly magical. We simply cannot thank you enough for being so AMAZING at what you do and capturing the essence of our wedding. Stunning work guys - thank you! XX”

Magic Montville Destination Wedding - Australian Photographers (Brisbane)
Montville really turned on the PERFECT weather for the gorgeous wedding of Fiona and Shane. This beautiful Brisbane couple picked a magical venue for their wedding at Secrets on the Lake, Sunshine Coast (one of Montville's finest venues).
Both the bride and the groom stayed in the rustic cabins, hidden in the lush tropical rainforest, the night before their special day. They also got ready in the cabins which made for an ideal backdrop and environment for them to feel relaxed and comfortable in. The views of Baroon Pocket Dam are incredibly priceless (and an amazing Australian playground for us photographers!).
The details and accessories Fiona and Shane chose for their marriage were just divine - from the floral bouquets to the bride's jewellery headpiece to groom's stylish cufflinks. This was one luscious Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding filled with lots of laughter and a few emotional tears along the way.
The love in this bride and groom's eyes was sparkling through the entire day which was so beautiful to witness!
Enjoy X
Jesse & Mikala
