Tara and Adem don't play by the rules. This unique, warm and super friendly duo officially got married at the Flinders Street Station photo booth weeks before their BIG wedding at Melbourne Town Hall. They did this so that their Mums and Grandma could participate in marrying them in front of 225 of their dearest friends and family.
So, the bride and groom's bridal party and couple portraits were taken mostly while casually walking the streets of Melbourne (Tara & Adem's request) before their ceremony. Photos in a Melbourne laneway, their beloved Flinders Street photobooth and at Ben and Jerry's Icecreamery were a must.
The ceremony banner was created by the bride herself - AHHHmazing. Some other innovative ideas featured at the reception consisted of a craft table, pinata forest, miniature photobooth beside their cake, micro coffee cart and an epic swing band! Oh, and Tara rocked a floral boa instead of a bouquet - seriously above and beyond awesome.
This was an extremely unique, fun-filled, heartfelt, innovative and creative wedding day with so much love given and received by the bride and groom and all who attended this epic occasion.
We wish you all the love, happiness and laughter in the world Tara & Adem!
Enjoy...

Kilmore, Melbourne Wedding - Sunshine Coast, Australian Photographers
When Adam and Michelle asked Mikala and I to photograph their wedding in Kilmore (near Melbourne), Australia we immediately said yes. Then I actually thought about the prospect and became a little nervous. Adam is the guy who mentored and encouraged us to pursue wedding photography seriously.
The nerves were completely unnecessary as this gorgeous pair are so relaxed, so kind and so very generous. We all enjoyed the stunning weather that Michelle's hometown of Kilmore turned on for their epic local church wedding ceremony framed by historic stained glass windows and bluestone walls.
We explored just a few of the thousands of acres of the property the wedding was held on and took some portraits with the wedding party before heading back to a giant shed for the reception. But this was no ordinary shed or reception.
Michelle and Adam along with their family and friends spent months designing, sourcing and creating the decorations that adorned the reception shed. It. was. EPIC. The decked out shed was an amazing reflection of the bride and groom's love and the love that surrounds them. Divine.
Thank you Michelle and Adam for choosing us to capture your extraordinary day!
Enjoy the creative visual feast they created - DIY wedding heaven.
