Brooke and Jacob not only make an awesome couple, they are also beautiful humans who chose a wedding venue that embodies exactly who they are - Yabbaloumba Retreat. This bride and groom love nature, people, laughter and just generally having a great time. Yabbaloumba Retreat was the perfect space to enjoy all of this.
They both got ready in separate cabins up on the hill with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. After they had all preened and styled themselves they made the short journey back down the hill to their gorgeous ceremony. There were plenty of teary eyes around and loads of beaming smiles too.
After their ceremony, Brooke and Jacob enjoyed a hug-a-thon with all of their friends and family followed by some bridal party portraits down by the stunning natural spring. We did some drone shots at the spring before venturing along the creek bed framing them in the surrounding nature of gorgeous and romantic Yabbaloumba Retreat.
The bride and groom made it down to their reception by the lake and enjoyed an epic welcome by all their loved ones. Everyone enjoy the wood fired pizza, paella from The Paella Fella, Pofferijes and a massive range of beer and wine.
There was a great mixture of tears and laughter during the speeches even Mr Photographer couldn't hold back. Once the cake was cut post-speeches then the crazy dance moves began. This awesome bunch know how to have fun!
We wish you all the love and happiness in the world Brooke and Jacob!

Fraser Island, Queensland, Australian Wedding - Linda & Andrew - Sunshine Coast Photographers
Linda and Andrew fell in love with Fraser Island as soon as they set foot on it and knew instantly Kingfisher Bay Resort would be the venue for their wedding.
After becoming friends many years ago they lost touch with each other. Finally years later, they rekindled their friendship which quickly became a love that rapidly blossomed. The connection between this awesome bride and groom is undeniable and absolutely meant to be. They laugh and joke together constantly and make the most of every single moment they have with each other.
Their wedding was not just a celebration of their epic love but also a uniting of their families and gorgeous children. Andrew's family flew all the way from Canada to witness this wonderful duo from Brisbane tie the knot on Sunset Beach at Fraser Island.
We explored the stunning, natural surroundings of Kingfisher Bay Resort for some couple portraits, finishing with drone shots of their beloved red Jag on the pier. We have just 5 words for Linda the gorgeous bride, "Easy, breezy, beautiful, cover girl."
The bride and groom's reception was marked by a heartfelt speech that could not be completed by Andrew as emotion overtook him while trying to thank his son AJ. Their first dance was surrounded by bubbles Linda's daughter was blowing onto the dance floor - so cute! This was followed by some energetic dance moves by all who joined the bride and groom on the dance floor.
Linda & Andrew's wedding really was a perfect reflection of themselves- fun, relaxed, a-laugh-a-minute and family focused.
We wish you all the happiness possible Andrew and Linda!

Gympie, Queensland, Australian Private Property Wedding - Megan & Rob
Megan & Rob decided to get married on their private property in Kia Ora (Gympie) and what a spectacular wedding it was! From the moment I laid eyes on the mountain where they were going to hold their ceremony I knew this was going to be one extraordinarily beautiful wedding.
A convoy of 4-wheel drives helped all the friends and family of the bride and groom up the hill to the picturesque ceremony location. We won't mention the trouble the groom had with his vehicle as that would be a little embarassing and one thing from his wedding day he would rather forget - sorry Rob!
Once everyone had gathered at the cinematic ceremony location, they were able to really savour the special moment of the bride and her Dad walking down the long, steep mountain aisle. Seeing the bride and groom standing next to each other and saying their vows on this hill really was out of this world. No matter where you looked there was an epic sweeping landscape - eye candy for the soul.
Many of Megan and Rob's family live on the properties surrounding theirs which gave the wedding a very warm and comforting feeling. There really was no better place for this great couple to marry at.
The bride and groom planted a tree after their stunning wedding ceremony where they can watch it grow, just like their love in the years to come. Then the bridal party and I explored the property for some portraits. There's a raw and beautiful rustic country feeling about these two and their surroundings - simply gorgeous.
The party kicked on at the Kia Ora Memorial Hall where the reception was held. There were some very funny speeches, absolutely beautiful food provided by Penfold's Catering of Noosa and plenty of twirls on the dance floor. Memories were made that will never be forgotton.
Well done Rob and Megan on hosting an outstanding wedding!
We wish you all the very best for your lives together as a married couple.

Yandina Station, Sunshine Coast (Australian) Autumn Wedding - Lisa & Dave
This warm and generous couple hosted their wedding day at the one and only Yandina Station. Lisa and Dave are from a small town called Gayndah, just west of Hervey Bay and Fraser Island and so the country chic feel of Yandina Station suited them perfectly.
They preened and prepared themselves at Coolum Caprice with epic views of Coolum Beach.
The ceremony was outside under the Moreton Bay Fig Tree where they so emotionally said "I do" to each other. The tears could not be held back, especially from Lisa's gorgeous bridesmaids. Emotions ran high when the bride and groom exchanged vows, rings and then sealed the deal with a kiss. The emotions quickly turned into laughter post ceremony with hugs of congratulations and celebration all around.
We explored the grounds with the bridal party for some photographic portraits. Dave and his groomsmen were definitely a highlight when they took hold of the decorative umbrellas that were meant for the bridesmaids - or were they?
The reception rolled on in the old dairy at Yandina Station with new flooring which looks outstanding and was an awesome platform for this happy, humble duo's celebration dinner. The speeches from Lisa and Dave's loved ones were beyond heartwarming. But the dancing... well that's another story. This bunch of Gayndahnians know how to stomp their way around a dance floor. Fun, happy, silly, crazy. None of these words can possibly describe the awesome dancing styles that took place in the old dairy of Yandina Station on Sunday, April 2, 2017. There's no doubt this particular evening will go down in the history books as one of the most epic nights of dancing ever seen at Yandina Station.
We wish you all the love, happiness and everything in between for your lives together Lisa and Dave.
