Sufers Paradise on the Gold Coast delivered an epic and absolutely stunning wedding day weather for Ilena and Jason (Brisbane). The Watermark Hotel presented a touch of elegance to their ceremony and a perfect position to make the most of the amazing Surfers city and beach surrounds for their couple portraits.
This was an Australian destination wedding that dreams are made of.

Mikala and I felt so grateful to be part of the intimate Australian wedding of Lani & Patrick. Only family and a best friend or two were invited to help this genuine, relaxed and completely in love couple celebrate their marriage. I feel so blessed to have known the bride's family for many years. To be able to participate in their beautiful day by photographing all of the special moments for them was an absolute honour.
Our day began photographing Lani (aka stunning Brisbane bride!) in a luxurious apartment between Coolum beach and Point Arkwright on the Sunshine Coast. Whales just happened to be jumping in the ocean directly in front of where Lani was getting her bridal hair and makeup done. As if the day wasn't exciting enough!
The ceremony was held at the divine venue The Rocks in Yandina (an Australian destination wedding gem). Set beside the Maroochy River and a small mountain this is an ideallic and tranquil place to get married and suited the happy couple oh so perfectly.
Emotions ebbed. Tears flowed. The mother of the bride's artistic wedding decorations looked amazing.
A fun-filled, relaxed and intimate ceremony and reception was enjoyed by all the family guests.

A Brisbane Couple's Bangalow, Byron Bay Hinterland Wedding - Australian Photographer
As photographers, we love to travel to any destination worldwide to shoot a wedding. In saying that, we do have some of the best wedding destinations right in our Australian backyard. One of these is without a doubt Bangalow, near Byron Bay (3 hours drive from the Sunshine Coast).
Bangalow is blanketed with open rolling green hills, lush subtropical Australian rainforest and beaming sunshiny days.
Bonnie & Patrick's (Brisbane based) Bangalow wedding encapsulated all of what makes up this beautiful area just minutes from Byron Bay, without the Byron crowds. The sun shone the entire day. Smiles were plastered across the guests faces from start to end.
This was a magical wedding day in the Byron Bay Hinterland - a top Australian wedding destination.
