Noosa Waterfront Restaurant and Bar, sunshine and most importantly a couple in love made for the most gorgeous wedding. An isle made of petals, pineapples on every table and kids with smiles full of sunshine and lollipops. This Sunshine Coast wedding was fun to attend, beautiful to see and refreshing for the soul. The bride and groom didn't want any portraits of themselves but wanted us to focus purely on photographing natural, candid moments and the pretty details of their Noosa Waterfront ceremony and reception. We did take a few sneaky portraits of Michelle and Steve as they were just so stunning - it would have been criminal not too! We did respect their notion though (apart from 5 portrait minutes) and captured many wonderful moments they experienced and plenty they would never have seen without two photographers.
Splash Events did an absolutely amazing job of decorating the wedding and as always Willow Bud produced glorious floral bouquets and flower arrangements.
The Paper Flowers takes on some popular and other more alternative songs had every single guest on the dancefloor. This awesome duo truly rock!
Enjoy these special moments...

Beerwah Forest, Sunshine Coast Engagement - Amber & Ethan (Brisbane)
Amber and Ethan chose the epic pine trees in the Beerwah State Forest for their engagement shoot which is half way between the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. The bride and groom to be are a gorgeous pair who are quick to laugh and have fun. The happy-go-lucky attitude of both of these great people made for such an easy and natural photo session.
We can't wait to photograph their wedding in October on a country property in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland.
Enjoy...

Yandina Station Wedding, Sunshine Coast - Jeri-lee & Trent (Brisbane)
Jeri-lee and Trent couldn't have hoped for a better forecast to host their wedding day at Yandina Station (Sunshine Coast). 0% chance of rain; 100% chance of sunshine ALL day.
This gorgeous couple's ceremony took place under the giant fig tree surrounded by many of their nearest and dearest friends. The mother of the bride received the bouquet to hold for her daughter which skyrocketed the emotions in the air from the start. Jeri-lee then gave her mother and the groom's mum a single rose each. This was a beautiful gesture received with so much love. The bride and groom decided to say their vows purely to eachother rather than to all present. This was a brave and beautiful choice on their behalf creating real intimacy for those precious moments.
After the loved up ceremony and all the congratulations with family and friends we took off on a portrait adventure around the famously historical Yandina Station. We found some magical places around the property to capture the loving bond between these warm and generous soul mates.
The night kicked on in the old dairy where Splash Events and Wendy's Flowers did an extraordinary job of designing and decorating the reception. After the cutting of the cake (by Sugar Allure), speeches and first dance the bride and groom's family and friends tore up the dance floor. I hadn't seen dance moves like this is some time! This lively bunch had a rockin' good time together celebrating the marriage of Mr and Mrs Langmaid.

Obi Obi Hall & Mapleton Falls Wedding, Sunshine Coast - Maddy & Nathan
The Sunshine Coast weather forecast for the entire week leading up to Maddy and Nathan's wedding at the Obi Obi Hall was for storms and heavy rainfall between 40-80mm. Not ideal. In fact it did rain that much on most parts of the Sunshine Coast but not over the range in Obi Obi. The forecast didn't dampen (pardon the pun) the spirits of the bride and groom anyway.
Maddy got ready in The Falls Farm "Smith House" near the gorgeous Mapleton Falls. This is the oldest house in town and has been beautifully renovated. The house sits on the top of the highest ridge in Mapleton. This was the perfect place to fit all of the bride's nephews, nieces, bridesmaids and parents - the whole tribe! Smith House also served as a great backdrop for Maddy getting ready with her friends and family.
A massive marquee was set up beside the Obi Obi Hall or the wedding ceremony with amazing views of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland mountains in the background. The ceremony was full of prayer, laughs and genuine love and emotion from all the wedding party and guests present.
Post ceremony I took the bride and groom and their lovely bridesmaids and groomsmen up to Mapleton Falls Lookout for some portraits then up their road to Smith House for some intimate and epic portraits of just the newlyweds.
I'd been photographing Maddy and Nathan in front of the old farm shed in the backyard for about 15 minutes then I turned around to be greeted by the most intoxicatingly mysterious thick fog. Needless to say the bride and groom swiftly moved into the fog for some of the most beautiful wedding portraits I've ever been blessed to take.
The wedding party headed back down to Obi Obi Hall for the reception where I departed soon after their entrance. Buzzing Events did a spectacular job of the reception styling and it was without a doubt one of the most magical looking receptions I've photographed!
Congratulations Maddy & Nathan!
